PRE or POST-TOUR IDEAS

If you plan to arrive the weekend before the workshop and/or stay on for the weekend after, here are a few ideas for places to stay in the Occitanie region. Of course, this list is not exhaustive.

On the Montpellier side

Discover the heritage of Montpellier’s city center, its narrow streets, small squares, and museums… And to extend your discovery of the region, the coastline, the Camargue, the back country and its small medieval villages…

On the Perpignan and Catalonia side

Its location between the sea and the mountains makes it the perfect destination for enjoying the diverse landscapes and sights to discover in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The medieval center of this beautiful Catalan town is worth exploring, as is the coastline with its quaint little ports (all the way to Cadaqués on the Spanish border). And if you’re feeling mountainous, the Pyrenees await you.
